Former luxury yacht of Monaco royalty offered for sale by Baja Yachts
The 147-foot former royal yacht of the late Prince Rainier and Princess Grace of Monaco is being promoted for sale by Baja Yachts, the worldwide Internet-based yacht brokerage.

The luxurious Camper and Nicholsons steel yacht is being offered for sale by her current owner for $535,000 Euros.

Built in 1928, the vessel was a wedding present from Aristotle Onassis to the Prince when he married former actress Grace Kelley. The couple spent their honeymoon aboard the yacht, known then as "Deo Juvante II".

The vessel has a fascinating history. Before she was given to the Prince and Princess, she served as a sub-chaser for Great Britain during World War II.

The motor yacht, with a classic canoe stern and powered by twin diesel engines, is elegantly outfitted and equipped for extended range cruising. She is set up to accommodate guests in a full-width master stateroom, four double staterooms and a four-bunk crews quarters, all with en suite facilities.

The galley clearly was designed for entertaining guests for gourmet dinners - it has a walk-in cooler.
